This is Fernando.  He was right outside of our door and we waved to him all of the time.  He could not wave to us because he had no hand.   

Give kids a stroller and some bungee cords and they will keep themselves busy.  

Maya is going to miss "Daddy's students", as she calls them.  We are all going to miss them.  They were amazing with the kids and we got to know them really well.

We had a long flight home and it only took us a few days to get unpacked and back into the American life.  Thanks so much to our neighbors Liz and David for picking us up a few pumpkins!  Nana sent us some stick on decorations that were a lot of fun too.  Here is the before and after. 

Maya's first day of pre-K was their Halloween party.  She ran right in like she had been there all year long.  I can't believe this is her last year before kindergarten.

They had a parade and showed us all of their costumes.  I love how Maya is posing in this picture.

We went trick-or-treating with our neighbors and had a great time. 

While Maya was at school one day, we met up with our friends Atticus and Vanessa and visited a local kids art studio.   It was a lot of fun!  It is an old house they have set up for kids to do different projects and they are literally allowed to paint every surface of the house.
